Why are Medical Parks the leading medical center in the world?

The ranking of the 50 most active kidney transplant centers in the United States is based on data from various clinics. The rating includes data on both kidney and pancreas transplant operations. For more than ten years, the journal "News and Problems of Nephrology" has been publishing a rating of the most active kidney transplantation centers, which includes the Medical Park Hospital Network.

Even the most active transplant centers in the United States, ranking first in the ranking, do not have the indicators that Medical Park Group demonstrates annually. Since 2008, the Organ Transplant Centers of the Medical Park Group have performed more than 450 organ transplant operations every year.

Bone marrow transplant at Medical Park

Bone marrow transplant centers for adults and children operate at the level of international standards and are integrated into international bone marrow banks. Medical specialists conduct training seminars for colleagues from all over the world.

"They make decisions based on international protocols and standards (EBMT, CIBMTR, ISCT), as well as with the participation of the Transplant Committee, consisting of eminent scientists with vast experience." These treatment departments are certified by the European Society for Bone Marrow Transplantation (EMBT) and the International Research Center.

Neurosurgery treatment

Gamma knife

Radiosurgery Gamma Knife

It is a globally recognized method of cancer treatment for malignant and benign brain tumors. This is the "gold standard" of treatment for such diseases:

  • meningioma
  • chordoma
  • glioblastoma
  • hyposis adenoma
  • glioma
  • neuromas
  • cavernomas
  • also with temporal lobe epilepsy, Parkinsonism.

This method used in Medical Park Hospital is very successful because its accuracy is higher than in radiosurgery.

Intraoperative magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)

Intraoperative MRI is used in brain or spine surgery and allows surgeons to capture images of the tumor resection process. This method is based on the use of a magnetic resonance imaging scanner in combination with a navigation system during the operation. In this way, a clear image of the tissue is possible, helping surgeons perform complete removal of the tumor during surgery, which in turn reduces the risk of finding the remains of the primary tumor after surgery.

Department of Oncology

Oncology - treatment with radionuclides

Application area of radioactive iodine;

• Hyperthyroidism • Thyroid cancer • Liver • Prostate cancer

  1. Patients with bone metastases are treatable with palliative systemic therapy using the radionuclide Samarium-153, used to stop the spread of the disease or relieve pain.
  2. Treatment with nanostructured microspheres based on yttrium-90 is used as chemotherapy and radiation therapy for patients with non-operated liver cancer.
  3. Radioactive iodine (I-131) is used to remove residual thyroid tissue after thyroidectomy.

Ophthalmology - eye clinic

The only possible treatment for cataracts is surgery.
Currently, the most advanced treatment method is cataract surgery with a femtosecond laser.

What is Femtosecond Laser Cataract Surgery at Medical Park?

Cataract surgeries performed using the Femtosecond Laser System allow patients to return to their normal daily life in a shorter time than painless biphasic surgeries performed under drip anesthesia. Since most stages of the operation are performed by computer-controlled operation of the femtosecond laser, this method allows you to achieve safer and more accurate results compared to manual operations. Thus, unwanted effects that may occur during the operation are minimized.

Center for Advanced Techniques in Robotic Surgery - MACOPLASTICA

Makoplasika

Macoplasty is a method of space technologies, minimizing the area of bone excision and the likelihood of errors in performing osteoectomy, ensures the preservation of full joint mobility and an early period of rehabilitation.
